Optometrist and practice owner Jonathan Hantman graduated in Optometry in 1997. As well as Optometry, he has degrees in Biomedical Sciences and a masters degree in Public Health. He is registered with the General Optical Council and is a member of both the Association of Optometrists and College of Optometrists.

Since qualifying, he has worked in a variety of settings from small independent practices to larger chains. He has also worked in domiciliary practice and in hospital eye departments.

As well as practicing at Hantman Eye Care, Jonathan works as a clinical supervisor at the University of Manchester`s Department of Optometry and as a glaucoma specialist at Royal Preston Hospital.

With over twenty years of experience Jonathan understands the importance of taking time to listen to the concerns of patients and ensuring that they are fully addressed during the consultation.

He believes that eye care, glasses and contact lenses should be both high quality and affordable and that great value must never be at the expense of the highest possible ethical and professional standards.
